RKT Engineering Consultants was founded in 2021 out of a refusal, a refusal to accept that precision CAD/CAM engineering of international quality had to be imported into Southern Africa at a premium, or delivered at a lower standard locally.
We started in a small Cape Town workshop with a single premise: that a mechanical design engineer trained on serious industrial platforms could deliver work indistinguishable from London, Hamburg, or Bremen, without the overhead that makes those firms untouchable for most clients.
Five years in, the premise has held. We ship parts to Cornwall yacht yards, tooling to Cape Town manufacturers, CAD packages to brand clients as far as global fast-food programmes, and training to engineering teams across three continents. The range is wide, the standard does not move.

Technical correctness
Every geometry, every tolerance, every CAM step is checked and cross-checked. Uncertainty is flagged, never hidden. "Let me verify" is a mark of professionalism, not hesitation.
Engineered delivery
Every engagement runs a five-stage brief: Discovery → Concept → Engineering → CAM/CNC → Delivery. The method is the product. Nothing improvised, nothing missed.
Visible progress
Every milestone produces an artefact: a concept pack, a signed-off GA, a CAM simulation, a first-article inspection report. If it isn't documented, it didn't happen.
Professional channel
Response SLAs on all communications, progress reports on schedule, full technical archives at handover. Everything tracked, everything on the record.
