Pinnacle SA engaged RKT for the mechanical design of a roller table assembly and its associated sheet metal covering system. The deliverable scope sat squarely in industrial mechanical design, structural members, bearing supports, and protective sheet metal with clean flat-pattern geometry.
Engineering approach
We built the assembly parametrically from the start. Every roller, every bearing block, every covering panel was driven from a single master parameter table. The sheet metal coverings were modelled as proper sheet metal features with bend tables and flat patterns, ready to drop into the fabricator’s nesting workflow without translation losses.
Delivery
Fabrication drawings were issued with weld specifications, bend specifications, and material callouts. Supplier handover was clean, the table fabricated and the coverings nested without back-and-forth.
